Does the feeling of "I don't give a darn" ever come over you?  I've been in one of those moods lately.  What's going on in the world seems hopeless.  This administration will probably negotiate a nuclear weapon with Iran by loosening the sanctions and Iran will just keep getting closer and closer to a nuclear bomb.

The problems that have arisen since Hussein Obama removed our troops from Iran have enabled ISIS or IS to take over parts Syria and Iraq and slaughter people.  They behead people for no reason at all.  They do it in the name of religion.  What true religion glorifies killing?  Yet knowing all of this young people from around the world are so dissatisfied with their lives that they head to the middle east to join these barbarians.  What is going on?

Her in the States the environmentalists care more about birds, fish and animals than they do about humans.  By declaring a bird or a fish endangered they have put thousands of people out of work and made other peoples' live miserable. Have they read Darwin?  Don't living things have to adapt or die out?  Maybe some of these birds and animals that are  "endangered" should die out.  Would they if man didn't interfere? They complain about the the amount of carbon dioxide being put into the atmosphere by man.  Too much they say yet a volcano erupting for several days puts more CO2 into the air than all man has ever done.

I guess I'm getting out of touch with the world.  I don't understand why people do the things they do.  I just might be getting too old to care.  I hope I always care but maybe with age you just see the folly in the world.  I guess I should just grin and bear it.

Now for the important stuff.  My picks are:Thursday Kansas State to upset West Virginia.  Friday Rice Owls over UTEP Miners.  Air Force upsets San Diego State.  Saturday  I'm taking Arkansas to upset Ole Miss.  Utah over Arizona.  Louisville to upset Notre Dame.  Texas Tech wins one at Ames, Iowa.  Tennessee over Missouri (don't ask me why).  USC to upset UCLA.  Oregon State over Washington.

Sunday New England, Green Bay, Houston, Arizona and Dallas all win.  (yeah sure, as if)
