I went to the doc this morning. He does not want to operate on my shoulder. My flexibility is better and also my strength. He wants me to keep doing my exercises and see what it's like in a couple of months. He didn't even suggest a steroid shot. He didn't even say don't do this or don't do that. No limitations. I am trying to be faithful to my regimen and hopefully that will take care of it eventually. He told me it will be a long process.
The team I'm rooting for finally made it into the top four. TCU is right in the playoff hunt. I think they can win their last three games so they have a very good shot at making the playoffs. Left on their schedule are Kansas, Texas way and Iowa State at home. The only one I see that could be a problem is Texas.
Mississippi State is still number 1 but they take on Alabama this week. Oregon passed Florida State and is ranked number 3 while State is number 3. Alabama could move into the top four with a win over Miss State. 'Bama is ranked #5 and Arizona State is #6.
My picks this week are: Ohio State over Minnesota, Georgia Tech upsets Clemson, Florida to beat South Carolina, Miss State over Alabama even though 'Bama is favored, Wisconsin over Nebraska, Oklahoma over Texas Tech, Arizona will beat Washington, Stanford over Utah, Auburn upsets Georgia, Texas State over South Alabama, Texas A&M over Missouri, Texas over Oklahoma State, Miami to upset Florida State (wishful thinking), UTEP over North Texas and Boise State over San Diego State.
Pro games Sunday: Cleveland over Houston in a close one. Seattle over Kansas City because the coin came up heads. Denver over St. Louis. Green Bay over Philadelphia in another close game. Finally, The Colts over the Patriots.
