What more can I say about how corrupt this administration is? The videos that are surfacing from Jonathan Grubers' many explanations on how stupid the public is about government taxes, etc. is just another reason why I think the Democrats will do anything to get their agenda forced upon the citizens of the United States. He is actually calling the Democrats stupid. They are the ones that passed the law. A few key Senators were hoodwinked into going along with their party vote. In other words lied to about Obamacare before their vote.
Gruber comes from the academia setting where progressive ideas flourish and are spouted to the youth of the country. The people in the ivory towers are arrogant and believe they are smarter than the rest of us and therefore should be able to force upon us their vision of how things should be. A couple of examples come to mind. Telling us what words we can and cannot use. You know, political correctness. Michelle Obama forcing her lunch program for schools. The kids are throwing most of it in the trash bins. Forcing everyone to have health insurance. All of these and more that aren't on the tip of my tongue right now are taking away the freedom of choice. By doing this it also takes away personal responsibility. Government will take take care of me from birth til death is what some people seem to think. What a life. We need to be able to make bad choices as well as good ones. It is a learning process or at least it should be. We should not make the bad choice twice. We are human and therefore will make errors in things we do but when we get knocked down and get right back up we will be stronger. I resent it when someone thinks they know what's best for me. I know what's going on with me, they don't.
Nancy Pelosi got caught in another lie. She is so stupid. She denied knowing Johnathan Gruber but a couple of years ago in a press conference mentioned him several times. She and Harry Reid must be getting senile the way they are being caught lying to the American public.
I watched "The Man Who Killed Osama Bin Laden" last night. We watched both parts last night. It was a very well done interview and production headed by Peter Doocy. Nicely done Peter.
Once again it's cold here. 33 degrees now at 8:25 in the morning on its way up to 48. I imagine I'll be staying inside most of the day doing my exercises and tying some flies. Since the weather has gotten cold I have watched "The War". It was a series (8 hours I think) on PBS done by Ken Burns. Next up might be "The Civil War" also by Ken Burns.
