Do you realize that at the present moment there is nothing on my mind to write about.  Of course many of you have figured out that not much is in my mind at any moment.  I just thought of something.   

I could have sworn that the Republicans were going to blow it and not pass their bill yesterday.  But I awoke this morning to read that with the help of some Democrats they passed it.  The fringes of each parties have things they don't like about it but you can't please everyone on any bill.  This is the way things should get done.  Just think if the liberals would have included the Republicans when they wrote Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) it wouldn't be the mess that it is today.  I believe the word is compromise.  That's what made this country great.  Working together.  Ever since Al Gore called for a recount in Florida we have been a split country.  Remember history and the person the Dem's love to hate, Richard Nixon, was counseled  to call for a recount in the 1960 election but didn't do it because he knew it would hurt the country.  Gore didn't have a clue.  (still doesn't)  Anyway compromise is a word that should be used more in D.C.  I think it's a word that isn't in Hussein Obamas' vocabulary.  

Did you see that NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams after 32 days of ignoring the story finally mentioned Johnathan Gruber.  Do you think NBC is a little left?  How about way left.  This is just another reason I believe that journalism is about dead.  The media is supposed to report in an unbiased manner.  Report not slant the news.  The left always gives FOX NEWS a bad time about being biased.  A lot of their programs are but not the reported  news.  I watch "Special Report" hosted by Bret Baier. 

I got a good report from the VA yesterday.  My medicine is at the correct level and everything else is good too.  That's always a boost to help you feel good about yourself.  I've got to do some errands today to get ready to leave for California.  Hopefully by the time we get out there the weather will be nice.  We are going to stop for a couple of days to see high school classmates of mine before we go into California.  That should allow this storm their having to get out of there.  Well, all is good so have a good day.
