Are the Republicans going to do it again?  You ask what are they going to do?  They're liable to take defeat out of the jaws of victory. (that is the way it goes isn't it?).  Seven years to come up with a health plan to enact into law after repealing the ACA ([non]-affordable health care act)and they haven't done it.  Some of the Republicans need to fall on their swords and vote yes today.  If they don't you can kiss the mid-term elections goodbye.  My advice to the Freedom group is to have faith in what is proposed in the three step plan.

I do like the fact that President Trump is ready to move on to taxes if the health bill vote fails.  He's done what he can to get this passed.

It's isn't easy to pass a huge bill like this one when you don't have sixty votes in the Senate.  Paul Ryan has figured that he can get the total bill passed in three steps with at least 52 votes in the Senate.  It will take time and although I like what the conservatives are holding out on I think they need to suck it up and vote yes today.  If the Republicans can't get together for this I believe they will get little or nothing done the rest of these four years.  I would also predict they will lose seats in both the House and Senate and Trump will be a one term President.  If they come together and pass this measure in three steps they will gain seats in both Houses.  I guess it comes down to having faith that each step will have good results.

There was a big upset in the "Sweet Sixteen" last night as number 11 Xavier defeated number 2 Arizona.  Three of the for games were decided by 3 points or less.  In the fourth game Kansas blew out Purdue by 32 points.  There are four games this evening with the first one starting around 6 PM.  I still have one bracket that's doing okay.  It's in the 89th percentile .
