It's beginning to happen.  The extremists on the right appear to have had it.  I knew it was going to happen at some point.  I don't condone it. The idiot that ran down protesters should be brought to justice.  Killing innocent people is not a solution to problems. I think I do understand the reason for the rally in Virginia however.  In my opinion the removal of Confederate statues and other historic things is wrong.  This is history.  It may not reflect well on the country but it happened.  I'm opposed to the left trying to rewrite this countrys' history.  

As I stated I'm opposed to the white supremacists groups and naturally anything to do with Nazis.  I do have a question about coverage by the media of such groups.  My question is why is it "white supremacists" and not "black supremacists" when black live matters protest.  The  blm group doesn't think white lives matter or blue lives matter (police) so why isn't it given the name of black extremists?  Just a question.  It's the extreme groups on both sides that are liable to start the next civil war.

The resist and impeach banter of the left and the calling of the assassination of President Trump is un-American.  It is not a unifying message.  It will keep us apart and anger the right. ( it already has)

I see where President Trump has polled higher recently.  His approval rating is at 45%.  This isn't bad because the left will never back him.  It does show that his base is still with him despite the left fighting him at every turn.

We went to "Gold Rush Days" yesterday for s short time and then to Salida to shop and pick up my prescription.  We played games both in the afternoon and evening with our friends from Colorado Springs.  They leave today and we'll miss them.  We had lots of laughs at both sessions.  Today is Happy Hour day.  It will be interesting to see what snacks and food are brought.  I've stated before that this turns out to be dinner.  It's usually pretty darn good. 

 Fishing tomorrow.  I'm not sure where I'm going yet.  I was reminded at coffee yesterday that the lakes do turn over and as I remember Crystal was ok in August so I might check it out.
