Once again the democrat spin doctors are out. I don't know how long they'll try to cover for Senator Franken. The party must have communicated to the spokespeople a message of how to handle this mess. The person I saw had this position on the matter saying, and this isn't a quate, but it's the main drift, "the difference between the Senator and the Roy Moore is the fact that Franken apologized. What hypocrisy. I guess what some of the democrats believe is that it's fine to fondle women's breasts as long as you sincerely apologize after being found out. I'm waiting to see just how hypocritical the Senate will be. They've talked about censoring Moore and not letting him in the Senate and how they handle the Franken revelation. Fairness calls for Franken's ouster. But D.C. is a swamp and scandals can sink rapidly.
If Franken is kicked out of the Senate it would bean opening for the GOP to get back the seat they will probably lose in Alabama. It would be an uphill battle in a very liberal state.
I got my to do list done yesterday and I'll get today's done so I can watch college football tomorrow. I always look forward to Saturdays during the fall.
