We lost a member of the family over the weekend.  My sister-in-law Joan, died of cancer.  She and my brother had two children, Craig and Susan.  Joan and Lerry did a wonderful job raising them.  Both are educators and truly good ones.  I wish I could be there at this time.

On the brighter side, a couple of our summer friends are going to be in Kerrville this afternoon.  Jack called last night to tell us this and asked if we could get together.  Naturally the answer was yes.  They are in the site next to us during the summer.  We have a good time with them.  Jack and I make each other laugh so every now and then we can be heard giggling over something that one of us said.  Looking forward to seeing them and spending some time together.
