We had a good day of fishing at Antero.  I took my fly rod but didn't use it.  The wind took us across many areas and was moving us too fast for fly fishing.  When the wind wasn't moving us Ray likes to keep moving with the trolling motor so it's hard to use the fly rod.  Saying all of that I used a spinning rod and I ended up catching about a half dozen fish.  Naturally the big fish took me to the weeds and eventually broke the line taking the lure with him.  Ray also lost the big one with the fish breaking his line.  The first time all summer that Ray had one break off.  Here's a couple of pictures.  The smaller fish was the second catch of the day for me.  The first fish was larger but I forgot to take a picture.  When I caught the second fish I thought I'd better have a picture for today's post.  By the way the temperature when we got to Antero was 36 degrees.  That's why the get up.

Today I have some chores around the rig to do before heading to Salida for my last massage.  If I can get these things done before I leave I might be able to play games this afternoon.  I rested after getting home from fishing yesterday.  I'm feeling pretty good this morning.  I'm interested in how much I weigh and whether or not I've lost or gained weight since I last weighed myself at the infusion center in Salida.
