My wife Carolyn gave me the best birthday card today that brought tears to my eyes.  I love her so much.  I can't think of anyone that could have been so good going through this fight with me against this awful cancer.  She was a God send to me when I meant her.  
By the way I have received some really good birthday cards and thanks everyone.  Today I'm 81 years old but only one day older than yesterday.  I going to spend part of my birthday playing bridge this afternoon.  I'll probably come home after that and nestle in for an evening with my best friend and lover, Carolyn.

I had another day of chemo yesterday and I'm not sure what's going on but once again I ate like a champ and it seems like my taste bud are getting better.  I think I know what's going on but until I know for sure I'm going to keep it to myself.  I feel really good and I go this morning at ten for more chemo therapy.  


Paul Ryan can't go quickly enough for me.  The Speaker of the House isn't qualified to be Speaker for the Republican Party.  He went against the President right  away without looking at the problem.  The President believes he can sign an executive order dealing with the 14th Amendment.  Ryan immediately said it was something that Congress had to do.  The President can't change the Constitution without Congress.  True but the 14th Amendment is different from all the rest of the Amendments.  Read the following article and you'll understand much better than the Rhino Ryan.
