I've been busy this morning getting our Christmas decorations up.  We don't do much.  We have a star which has some lights on it.  I put that on a timer and it lights up from dark to six hours later.  I also put some lights on our sage and those too are on a timer. That's all we do.  We'll see how it looks tonight.  We used to do more but I quit getting on ladders so the icicles don't hang any more from our eaves.  It's either age or a I'm tired of Christmas already attitude that governs me on all of this.  When I used to go Christmas shopping it was on the 23rd or 24th so I had to buy and not really shop.  I got into the Christmas spirit that was and tried not to pay attention to the stores lining their shelves with Christmas things before Thanksgiving.

Two of the teams I wanted to win last night ended up losing.  I hope I do better on my picks today.  Oklahoma keeps outscoring their opponents.  The Sooner defense isn't any good but their offense sure is.  The Sooners will face the Texas Longhorns for the Big 12 championship.  Washington defeated Washington State in a snow storm last night.  The only team that I wanted to win last night was UCF.  They won their 23 straight game but lost their quarterback.  I don't know how serious the injury is.  Hopefully it's not too bad.  Their second string qb isn't that bad.  They play Memphis for the American Athletic Conference Championship.  UCF is fun to watch.  If they defeat Memphis they should make the playoffs.  You snobs that make up the rules should let the undefeated smaller conference champs have a shot at the title.

I'm feeling good this morning.  I had a good night of sleep.  On top of all that today is college football day.
