The mid-terms turned out to be pretty predicable.  The Democrats gained enough seats in the House to be the majority party there.  President Trump's rallies for Senate candidates proved worth while as the Republicans gained seats in the Senate.  This is something that doesn't happen in most mid-term elections.

The next two years will be interesting.  It's up to the democrats to decide if they are just going to go after President Trump or whether they will try to legislate. I think the hate toward President Trump is so intense on the left that they'll make he mistake of hounding the president with insane accusations and they will spend millions of our tax dollars trying to pin something on the President.  In my opinion going after the President will insure a victory for the President in 2020.  I come to that conclusion by how much the Kavanaugh hearings influenced the outcome of so many Senate races.  Although the left media believe the public is not very bright, they are fooling themselves.  The public, especially the right can see through the lies and deceit pushed by the left.

Winners and losers last night are so pronounced that I hate to relate the obvious.   Losers are Taylor Swift, her endorsement of the Democrat Senate candidate in Tennessee fell short.  The next obvious loser was the ex-president Hussein Obama.  Where he campaigned the democrats lost.  I don't think he'll ever understand American politics.  He tried to ruin the country but fell short of that goal.  If I were a democrat candidate I would tell him to stay away.  The big winner was President Trump.  Where he held his rallies the Republican Senate candidates won.  Florida, Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota and Montana all came through for the Republicans.  He also will be better off in 2020 since the Governorships in Iowa, Florida and Indiana all went to the Republicans.  Being a governor of a state during a Presidential election one has the state machinery behind them to help the candidate.

I guess other winners last night are all the left leaning (read socialism/communism) professors that are indoctrinating the youth of America.  Candidates that ran on "free Medicare for all", free college tuition, free medical and free this and thaqt garnered more votes than they should have.  Youth of America wake up!  There's no such thing as a free lunch!!!

Enough politics for now.  Here are my picks for this week.

Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Washington State, Michigan State to upset Ohio State, Utah, Texas, Iowa State, USC and Clemson.
