I had quite a morning yesterday.  I woke up around 1 AM with a bloody nose.  I couldn't get it to stop bleeding.  I laid on the floor and it would stop.  Then as soon as I moved it would start bleeding again.  This went on all night.  Around 8:30 AM we went to the Oncology Center.  The nurses gave me an ice pack to put on my nose.  They then lined up an appointment with an ENT doctor.  They also set up an appointment at the ambulatory care center for me to receive  some platelets..  Carolyn and I were out all morning plus into the afternoon.  The ENT doctor cauterized some vessels in my nose to stop the bleeding.  I'm sniffling a lot since I'm not to blow my nose for awhile.  Meanwhile I'm still feeling rather good.  I know the nose will stop running but I wish it would happen soon.

There is only one college football game today.  Army plays Navy in a traditional rivalry game.  It is the 119th meeting of these two Academies.  Navy leads the series.  The breakdown of wins and loses is Navy 60 wins 51 losses and 7 ties.  Army is favored in today's game.
