I often write "as I look out my window this morning" so I thought I'd show you what I see. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I took this picture during a different season because right now most of the trees have shed their leaves.  It's chilly outside (47) so I think I'll wait a little before taking a walk.  I'm not walking very far because by the time I walk for ten minutes or so I get cold.  I'll try to double yesterdays' walk today.  I do need to keep increasing the distance for the exercise.  That's a good goal to shoot for.

Do you dislike hypocrites?  I do.  It seem most all politicians are hypocrites.  I know the members of the democrat party show their hypocrisy quite often.  The recent squabble about funding the wall is one example.  Not too long ago the democrats voted in favor of giving money to the President for the wall.  However, all the blame for not funding for border security can't be laid at the feet of the democrats.  The wimps in the Republican controlled Senate could do it today if they had the guts.  But then President Trump would again show that a non-politician can get things done while Congress twiddle its thumbs.  The excuse of the Senate needing sixty votes is a lame one.  It is NOT in the Constitution that sixty votes are needed to pass a bill in the Senate.  The Senate did that to themselves.  The rhinos have hindered the process too long.  They need to realize that President Trump is the leader of the party and not anyone else.  More opportunities have been missed because of the sixty vote self imposed hindrance.  The wall, infrastructure, new immigration policies, permanent lower tax laws, new health insurance laws and many more vital items could have been passed except egos get in the way and not changing the sixty vote threshold to a simple majority is what keeps the Congress's approval rate lower than any other part of the government.  Rightly so.

I think I'm finally getting over my cold/flu.  I had a good night of sleep and I feel really good this morning.  I don't have much info for you about my condition other than I'm good.

I'm going to post my picks (in red) for Saturday bowl game this morning so I don't forget to do them tomorrow.  I'm going with North Carolina A&T to defeat Alcorn State.  I'm picking Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to upset Tulane.  Utah State should defeat North Texas.  I'm going with Fresno State to beat Arizona State.  In the Georgia Southern-Eastern Michigan game I'm going with Georgia Southern. Appalachian State will beat Middle Tennessee in a close one.
I will post my picks for the nine games next week on Monday.

I just looked at the temperature display and it reads 55 so walking here I come.
