I'm debating whether or not to go to "coffee and donuts this morning.  On the one hand I should probably not go because of the contact with people that might have colds.  I want to go just to to see the guys and show them I'm still around.  I've avoided the social gatherings recently so I'm leaning toward going.  Don't I have big decisions to make?  So early in the morning too. 

Nothing has changed that I know of with my health.  The problem is I don't know what's going on inside my body.  I feel fine although I know I'm not as strong as I have been.  I've had very little pain through this entire process.  Yes there have been individual episode of pain but I can count them on my fingers.  All in all I'd say it hasn't been hard going through the chemo.  I'd better thank the Lord for that.  I've been fortunate in the decision I made when I found out I had cancer.  I decided I would be upfront about it by telling people what was going on.  I also decided I wouldn't change my actions, that I'd still be the same person trying to put a smile on peoples' faces.  I've tried to maintain a positive attitude and for the most part I've been able to do that.  I've also been fortunate to be treated wonderfully by all the nurses in the Oncology Center in Kerrville, Texas and  Salida, Colorado.  They've been so nice and helpful.  I've found out that it takes special people to work with cancer patients.  Thank you all.

This Saturday starts the Bowl Season.  There are 41 bowl games.  I can remember when there were 4.  The four were the Orange, Cotton, Sugar and the Rose Bowl.  Now forty-one.  It's all about money.  If you watch some of these bowls you'll see empty stands.  It's TV money that makes it go.  I guess the schools make some money so why not?  Join me in selecting the winners.  Scan or copy the games which I've listed and make you picks.
