Today is hump day for those of you unretired/working people. For me it's mid-week chemo. Only two more days this week before I find out what's going with me. I'm still feeling good and I got a good night's sleep last night.
It's still cold here in the Hill Country (37 at 8:00) It on it's way up to the 50's brrr. Of course I should feel fortunate that I'm not in Minnesota or that entire area. It's really cold there. Somewhere in that neighborhood the wind chill factor was in the minus fifties. That's what I heard anyway.
I subbed at bridge yesterday and once again barely scored over a thousand points. I had terrible hands once again. It's been about a month since I took third place with that nice group. I play here in the park today and I've been doing rather well here the last three or four weeks. I hope it continues.
It looks like the Venezuelan people are going to win> It has been reported that nearly $1 billion of gold is on it's way out of the country. If Maduro goes with it things could get better quickly. I watched an interview with Juan Guiado last night and it seems that he and his group have thought out the transition from dictatorship to democracy deeply and it seems as they are ready to do it. Good luck and when you get this done Venezuela will once again become a modern first rate country once again and a good ally in the area.
