Saturday was a nice relaxing day.  I went to "coffee and donuts" and talked to the boys (old men).  We had a nice group and had many laughs.  In fact one of the women yelled over to us to tone it down.  As if they don't get loud too.  It was all in good fun.  The group we have here this year is a good one.  In the afternoon we played cards and the team I was on was behind by about 17,000 points going into the last hand and came back to win.  

After cards we had happy hour.  It was a small group but sometime smaller is better because everyone is tuned into one conversation.  Sometimes in a larger group there will be three or four conversations and you miss a lot of stuff.  The evening brought about time for reading.  I haven't been reading since the Bobs and Phyllis arrived.  We always got together in the evenings to enjoy their company while they were here.

We got a strange message yesterday.  Due to a big error on the part of an employee in New Mexico my driver's license has been suspended.  I got a ticket in New Mexico on the way up here.  Carolyn paid the ticket by check and New Mexico cashed it.  But they didn't let Texas know and now my license is suspended for not paying the ticket.  But we did. We'll or really Carolyn will work on it Monday.  Inefficient help can really bring about problems for people that they don't cause.

  President Trump should nominate Hillary Clinton for the next opening on the supreme court. Then he can finally get her investigated.

    And just like that they went from being against foreign interference in our elections to allowing non-citizens to vote in our elections.
