It's just about college football season.  Opening games are scheduled for Saturday August 24th.  My pick'em season will start the weekend of September 6th.  Keep a lookout for the first games and play along with me.

This morning at nine is "potluck breakfast" day.  These breakfast potlucks have been a huge success so far an I'm thinking today's will also be good.

I'm not sure what's on the schedule for today after breakfast but I don't imagine it will be filled with a lot of chores.  This evening Randy is going to sing for us and provide ice cream and cake also.  It sounds like a good ending for today.  Randy has entertained us before so we're looking forward to a good evening.

I got my doctor's appointment changed from the 3rd of September to the 28th of August which is an infusion day for me.  We won't have to make a special trip into Salida which is nice.  The people in the Oncology section of the Hospital in Salida really try to make things easier for their patients.  They are great to work with.  I'm still feeling fine and I think I'm doing better.
