The fish are getting heavier at Crystal.  The fish pictured is not real long but his girth showed that he has put on weight since the early summer.  
I had a great day Monday.  I hook over twenty fish and brought fifteen to the net.  It was a lot of fun.  It took me about a half an hour before I put on the right fly.  You might have guessed it.  Yes it was a "teterbaetis".  Of the twenty hooked I'd say eighteen were on a barb-less teterbaetis hook.  The ones that got off either took me to the weeds or got off due to the barb-less hook. I wish some of my friends could have been with me.

The college football season starts this weekend with Florida playing Miami.  The following weekend finds that not all of the games are a big school playing a small one.  There are some big name games next week with Oregon taking on Auburn, North Carolina and South Carolina, Colorado State taking on Colorado to name a few.

It's going to be hot today so I'd better get around now.  Have a good one!
