The last two days have really been sort of blah.  I played bridge Thursday afternoon and didn't get real good cards.  I played a couple of hands that were interesting.  I like the people that play there so seeing them is also a good thing.

After Carolyn picked me up from bridge we came home and went to the pot luck dinner here in the park.  One man brought sloppy Joes.  He said the recipe is from 1900 and it's not manwich.  It was really good as were many of the other dishes.

Friday I went fishing at Antero Reservoir with Ray.  It was a slow day.  I caught one on my fly rod and it was fun getting it to the net.  We weren't the only ones that thought the fishing was slow.  Talking to other people when we got back on shore the consensus was that it was just one of those days when the fish weren't interested.  I don't know why but that's the way it was.  Ray did catch a beautiful 21 and a half in Brown Trout.  It was a really nice fish with bright colors.

This morning (Saturday) is coffee and donuts day so we'll be going over to talk to the guys and gals.  The last two weeks both groups have been staying until 10:30 or 11 o'clock.  I think I'll take a walk before I go over at eight.  That's about it.  You might think it sounds boring but I enjoy the conversations and our "summer family".
