I was going to go to the VA hospital this morning to have some blood drawn so my doctor can figure out if my dosage of medicine is ample.  I started taking my first medicine last spring.  It's just for my thyroid, nothing serious.  The temperature has me thinking I'll go tomorrow.  It's 29 right now and it's not going to get very high today.

I'm worried that the Republicans will foul up if Obama gives the illegals amnesty.  If they shut down the government the public will turn on them so fast they won't know what hit them.  Listen to a couple of your newer members.  Be selective in your spending bills.  Don't fund the program to give social security cards to illegals.  Without the funds what do they do?  But don't shut down the entire government.  If you do you'll play right into the hands of the Hussein Obama and the Democrats.  I see where Harry Reid is going to let the Senate vote on the Keystone Pipeline bill.  This is only going to happen since the Republicans will control the Senate in January.  Reid has blocked the bill from getting voted on for several years.  What made him change his mind?  He thinks it will help get Mary Landrieu reelected to the Senate.  The Louisiana Senator is in a tough race.  Hopefully the voters in Louisiana will see through the ploy and elect the Republican challenger, Bill Cassidy.

Boy did I have a bad week picking the winners of the football games.  It probably isn't the first time this has happened but I can't remember the last time it did.  I was under 50% for the week.  I went 9 and 11.  I lost 4 out of 5 of the pro games and only one of those was close.  The bad weekend left my season total at 124-61 or 67%.  I'll post this weeks' games tomorrow after I get back from the VA.  So tomorrows' post will be later in the morning.
