Today is Carolyn's birthday so I'm taking her to breakfast soon.  I don't know how long I'm going to write since the time to go is rapidly coming upon me.  I really lucked out when I met Carolyn because she's the best thing that has ever happened to me.  She is my best friend, supports me, takes care of me and even laughs at my attempts at being humorous.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the 20 years we've been together and think she has too.

I watched some football yesterday and Arkansas couldn't hang on to upset Missouri.  Missouri is a team that somehow finds a way to win.  They won the SEC eastern title and will play the winner of the western division.  Stanford who has had trouble scoring all year put up 31 on the Rose Bowl scoreboard yesterday and dominated UCLA.  In the other "pick" game I finally got one correct as Arizona defeated Arizona State to win the southern division of the PAC 12.  They will play Oregon for the title.  They defeated Oregon earlier in the season.  Two first string offensive linemen for Oregon were out that game.  Arizona will have a tough task as it's really hard to beat a team twice in one season.  I'm 3-4 going into today's games.
