A big mistake made by San Diego State cost me a win yesterday so I ended up 1-1.  Leading 16 to 14  in the fourth quarter, San Diego State with a fourth and five situation on the Navy 12 yard line they didn't kick a field goal and ended up losing 17-16.  Thanks a lot coaches.  In the earlier game Marshall romped over Northern Illinois 52-23.  Today I have Western Kentucky and Rice.

I see where once again Governor Brewer of Arizona says it like it is as she steps down from her position as Governor.  She called Obama  a "failed President".  Right on Governor!

Today or at least this evening we'll be going to my nieces' house for a family Christmas eve.  If everyone comes there will be over a dozen of us for a nice dinner and exchange of gifts.  Now the gifts are usually gift cards.  It makes it easy to shop and the receiver can buy what they want or need instead of taking home something that won't be used or appreciated. How did common sense get in the mix? When we all got older!

A friend posted a video on his face book page of his first trout catch of the season.  Our fly fishing club stocks trout in several places and one pays for the privilege of fishing.  It's catch and release until the water starts warming up.  At that time the fish can be taken out.  I pass on joining as I fish all summer for trout.  I will be fishing for bass and sun fish when the water warms a little.
