Boy was I jealous when I received a call from our friends in Bozeman, Montana.  They were on their way to the Madison River to fish.  I'm going through withdrawals right now.  Fishing withdrawals that is.  I haven''t been since August.  Anyway, I had posted a comment on face book of one of his pictures of some trout he'd caught.  I said I was really jealous so they rubbed it in some more yesterday.  Kidding aside it was great to hear from them.  They are so nice and we will miss them this summer.  Maybe we'll sneak up to Bozeman one of these years.

I hope like heck the Browns game is televised in our area today.  Johnny Manziel is starting at quarterback today.  I hope he does well and leads the team to a victory.  I've got to get around this morning to pack and get ready to leave for Arizona and California so I can watch the football game if it's on.

I voted for Ted Cruz when he was elected to the Senate but I think sometimes he needs to step back and take a deep breath before he acts.  I know the conservative point of view needs to be put in front of the public but not if it's going to hurt you in the long run.  It's like the boy that called wolf.  If you are always out front, people start disregarding everything you say and you become the joke of "there he goes again".  There will be time to tackle immigration and other problems when the Republicans take over both houses in January.  Patience can be a virtue sometimes.  Relax Ted.
