My wife and I watched the Spurs win last night. When that was over we watched the CMA Christmas show. I really like the country stars. They seem to be down to earth and not like the Hollywood celebs. I give the country music people credit as they aren't afraid of singing about Christmas or Jesus. They believe in keeping it a "Christmas Season" and not like those on left who have started calling it the "Holiday Season". Political correctness is not high on the list of down to earth folks. They are polite to people and respect them and don't have to be coerced to watch their language.
I am becoming a fan of Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland. Jennifer sang a great duet with Idina Menzel. Idina was also very good and sang several times on the show. I'm also beginning to like "Little Big Town" who use a lot of four part harmony. I enjoyed the program.
I liked what Charles Barkley had to say about Ferguson. A lot of people on the left don't care for him. I don't always agree with him. He says what's on his mind and stands by it. He said the looters are scumbags (his words) and that the Grand Jury came to the correct decision. It's too bad the President didn't say something like that. If he would have maybe we wouldn't be having the problems that have arisen in several cities.
