HAPPY NEW YEAR
May this year be better than the last.  If you had a good year in 2014 this year will be great.

We stayed in last night, watched the Spurs win a close one and finished a bottle of champagne.  We didn't make it until midnight but we brought in the new year with New York.  Today we will watch the Rose Parade and I will watch a couple of bowl games.

I lost two picks yesterday as the SEC didn't do well with both Ole Miss losing and Miss State also getting beat.  The team I thought should be in the final four, TCU, defeated Ole Miss 42-3 a team that defeated Alabama 23-17.  TCU dominated the entire game.  I still think they got the shaft not being in the final four. I did a quick count of how the conferences are doing in the bowl games.  Here is what I came up with.  I believe I'm accurate but who knows I did this early this morning.  SEC 4-3, Pac 12 4-1, Big Ten 2-3, Mountain West 3-4, Conference USA 4-1,  ACC 4-5,  Big 12 1-3,  American 1-2,  MAC 1-3,  Sun Belt 1-1, and the independents 2-1.  The results would seem to give Oregon an edge on the rest but who knows.

It's cold here 33 and it looks like a snuggle in day.  Hope you have a good day!  If you didn't notice I posted the rest of my picks yesterday afternoon.
