The bridge gods were kind to me yesterday as I had good cards and won with the overall high score.  I really botched one hand.  I had my bid made but I was trying for an overtrick and ended up not making my bid.  I forgot the old maxim of making the bid and then trying for overtricks when not playing duplicate. Not making that bid wasn't key my winning thank goodness.  It's my playing so stupidly that bothers me.  I play again today here in the park.

NBC has suspended Brian Williams for six months.  Does that mean he has a job at the end of that time? Where are all the politically correct nut jobs?  They should be calling for his being fired.  How can you be politically correct if you let people lie and keep them on the job?  Oh that's correct left wing people can say whatever they want and it's OK.  A conservative on the other hand would have been fired that same day.  If Rush Limbaugh would have lied like Williams the entire left would be calling for his being let go by his network.  Now's a chance for NBC to overhaul their network and go back to an unbiased news reporting. Yeah like that's going to happen.  Don't hold your breath.

I've decided what I'm going to present to the fly club at our next meeting.  I've titled it "Some Things I've Learned About Fly Fishing".  What I plan to do is through pictures and and talking, pass on some tips that I've picked up from guys that I've been lucky enough to fish with.  What I know about fly fishing has been learned from others.  I've got to work on what I want to say .  It's in my mind but I need to make some notes to make sure I cover what I want to cover.  

I looked in the mirror the other day and thought "Oh my gosh, I'm Pregnant".  My pot belly needs to go way down and now that the weather is becoming nicer I need to get out and walk.  Maybe if I ate less it would help too.  I am going to get into shape for this summer.  I need to be ready to stand on my feet for hours.  I need my legs in shape to wade the river and go up and down the steep banks of the river.  Wait a second, does this sound like work?  Yes but I've got to do it.  See ya.  Got to go get ready to walk.
