Are you out on strike today and marching?  What's going on in this country?  Next it will be without grocery checker's day.  Or maybe a day without convenience store clerks day. Or maybe a day without retired peoples day.  Many would probably like that.

I guess what's causing all of these idiotic days is two fold.  One it goes along with the me generation.  Look at me I work at a job and should make more money and I'm not appreciated.  Boohoo.  Sob.
I need recognition because I'm me.  Snowflakes.  Closing down schools because you want to be recognized is a farce.  Life isn't all about you.  It's nice to know you are appreciated but you aren't going to hear that all the time.  Do you tell others that they are appreciated?  Do your job and get on with life.  Two I don't know exactly what it is.  Is it because of the election?  Is it because everyone wants a participation trophy?  Is it because everyone thinks the world revolves around them.  The music industry, movie industry and the rest of performers think so.  They pat themselves on the back all the time with numerous award shows.  I guess that's okay if they want to do it but I think it takes them out of the real world.  They lose touch with reality.

What a good game between the Rockets and the Spurs Monday night.  Kawhi Leonard should be MVP this year.  He plays both ends of the court and has become the face of the Spurs.  He doesn't lead the league in scoring but he's had over 30 games in which he's scored over 30 points.  Under "coach Pop" the Spurs usually play limited minutes so they haven't had a league leading scorer since I've been watching them.  They play a team game.   He is always assigned to guard the opposing team's leading scorer.  They have made the playoffs twenty straight years and with Kawhi leading the way they've already cinched a spot this year.   Kawhi for MVP!
