The Spurs overcame a 28 point first half deficit to defeat Sacramento last night.  The Spurs two leading scorers, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Kawhi Leonard, did suit up.  It was the largest come from behind win since Pop took over as coach.  The win was important as Boston defeated Golden State and the Spurs gained a game in the standings.  They are now one game back of the Warriors.  The downside of the last four games is that the Spurs are digging themselves into a hole in the first quarter.  When the playoffs start it will very difficult to overcome a bad start in each game.  Mills, Green, Lee and Manu all came up big in the fourth quarter.  I should also mention the younger players contributed too.  It was a good learning experience for the rookies.

I'm going to go fishing and try out my newly tied poppers after I get through writing this post.  The river is still running high with a lot of water coming down but I'll try anyway.  I get good exercise wading against the current.  It will help me get in shape for the summer.  I'm going to take my 6 foot #2wt this morning.  With this rod even the smallest fish feels like a whale.

I hope we find the spies in our midst.  This mess could have dire consequences to our country's safety.
