I'm heading to Antero Reservoir this morning with Ray and his friend Bruce.  We are going to go to a spot where Ray has had success. We have to hike to it so it may not be over fished because a lot of fishermen don't like to walk very far carrying there poles and tackle boxes.  I'm hoping my friend is correct.  I'm taking both rods, fly and spinning, just in case.  I would really like to catch another nice fish on my fly rod.  It should be nice over there this morning.

Sunday turned out to be a laid back day.  I read a lot.  Did a couple of chores around the rig and then played games after "Happy Hour".  I was even on the winning team.  I have lost so many games of "hand-knee and foot" that a win is unusual this summer.  Maybe the cards have changed since the win last night made it two in a row.  It's enjoyable playing whatever game we decide on since there is so much laughing and good banter while we play.

On the political front, nothing seems to be happening.  The tax bill should be about done and my advice to the wussy Republicans is to pass it.  The left is still crazy and have a view of our problems that proves they are nuts.  Allow anyone to come into the country, protect all illegals and resist anything that the present administration proposes.  If President Trump did tried to enact something the dems wanted they would still oppose it just because Trump initiated it.  The left is ruining this country and they can't see it.  They are the ones that think they are the smart ones.

I hate some of the left wing bumper stickers.  Especially the "co-exist" one.  Tell me how man is treating man in the middle east.  Islam cannot coexist with anyone because the jihadists control the religion at this point and to them if you're not muslim you must be eliminated.  As far as sanctuary cities and states go, I hope the federal government fines or arrests mayors, governors for breaking the law.  Throw them in jail and fine them also.  Hell, throw the book at them.  If I broke a federal law I know the feds would be after me.  Speaking of jail and fines, how does Al Sharpton get to run around free when he owes over a million dollars in taxes?  Are the feds afraid of him?  I'm becoming more convinced that the states should be doing most of business of government.  The more local you get the more responsive the politicians must be.  We should limit what the federal government is in charge of. I haven't thought this through yet but I think it makes sense when Congressional men and women think spending a million here and a million there doesn't amount to much.  Locally that amount makes a difference.
