The "special place" was a dud.  I saw one fish swim by and had no hits on either my flies or lures.  Ray also got skunked.  Bruce caught two on "power bait".  I'm headed to crystal this morning to catch a fish or two.  I've got to get "skunked" out of my mind and past me.

I've got "writers' block this morning.  Not much is happening as far as I know on the political scene.  I think President Trump would be on the correct path if he pursues the option of taking Congress off of their health insurance and puts them on obamacare if they don't do something quick.  I've said this over and over and I get tired of writing it but we've got an opportunity to do some big bold things that are good for the country and the Republican Senators have no clue how to do it or are afraid to take the bold steps required.  They are too concerned about their re-election. 

I think it took brain cancer to jar Senator McCain into making bold decisions even if I see them as wrong ones.  He's fighting his party but where was this new guy during his presidential campaign?  He was no where to be seen.  He'll probably vote against the tax bill also.  Just a guess.

It's only August first but It looks like the winners of the baseball divisions are just about wrapped up.  Even the ones that are only ahead by a game or two are ahead in the loss column by four or so.
It's also the time of year when college and pro football fans are getting anxious for the season to start.  I know the countdown of days to that season opener has begun.  I'm looking forward to football too.  

That's it.  My brain is drained for the day.   Must get my catching of fish fix.
