I'm really pleased that my niece and her husband are having a good time in Cody Wyoming.  I wish they were able to come down to Buena Vista on their way home but I understand why that's not practical. 
I don't get to see them being they live in central California and we live in Texas.  We were able to stop and see them a few years ago when we went to my high school reunion.  We had a good visit with them and my nephew in law gave us a wonderful tour of his workplace. They are the other conservatives in the family and that makes it nice when you visit.  You don't have to watch what you say around them.   A shout out to them, enjoy your vacation and rest up for the time when you become grandpa and grandma.  It's coming soon.  Congratulations.

Senator John McCain had surgery last week and I don't know how serious it was but maybe he should step down and have the Republican Governor appoint some conservative to take his place.  McCain can't get over President Trump calling him a loser and has fought Trump every step of the way.

I am still calling for the Congress to repeal obamacare.  I must say this about the American public.  They don't have a clue about healthcare.  In the latest poll, the public likes obamacare over the GOP plan by a 2 to 1 margin.  What?  Doesn't the public know that obamacare is broke and hospitals are closing and insurance companies have bailed out.  Get rid of the entire law and write one that will allow insurance companies to cross state lines and write their own policies.  Keep medicare and medicaid like it is now and if wither of those two programs need fixing do it later.  I know it can't be that simple but do something.  Time is running out.

I'm headed to crystal this morning to see if the fishing is better than it was a month ago.  Hopefully it won't be a wasted trip
