It's Monday morning and time to go fishing.  What a great life.  My biggest decision today is where shall I go.  I was going to Hayden, I call it "square lake", or on up to Crystal.  I'm leaning toward Crystal so I can try out a new body location for my camera.  I think I can put it around my waist.  Maybe that location will get my left arm out of the picture.

It seems that not much has changed on the political scene.  Dems are still yelling Russia, Russia.  The Reps can't get out of their own way and President Trump keeps tweeting.  What a great government. When you stop and think about some of the people that have been there so many years it's a wonder that the country is still here.  Think Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, John Dingell (57 years), Hank Johnson who warned that Guam may capsize, (https://www.google.com/search?q=georgia+congressman+guam&oq=georgia+congressmn&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j0l5.15061j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
(Don't know whether or not he's still around)  I don't know what the answer is to get rid of these people other than term limits.  We have a mess.  Maybe we should limit the federal government and go back to states running things.  The federal gov. could be in charge of defense, immigration, infrastructure and some other areas and let the states take care of the rest.  The people would have more of an influence on matters since it would be closer to home.

I just came up with this idea and haven't thought it through, as you can tell.  I guess I'd better think about it more.  It's time for me to get ready to go fishing.  Isn't life good.
