The Senate Republicans had it's traitors yesterday.  They just don't get it.  Three voted against the bill and I'm sure they think they did the right thing.  I disagree with them and I'm disappointed that the Republicans can't govern.  I look for the democrat to gain control of the Senate at the next election.  So much for putting this country back on the right track.  President Trump is trying to fulfill his campaign promises but he's getting no help from the Republicans.  I don't have an answer to the question of why the party can't get together to pass legislation.  It's a shame because they could really get the economy going and have a good tax bill etc.  They will probably screw up with the tax bill also.  God help us.

I'm debating with myself if I should go fishing, and if I do where should I go.  I'm thinking of going to Hayden  since I haven't fished there this year.  The fish aren't as big as they are at Crystal but I'll use my three weight and they'll feel like they are.  I wish one of my fishing mates was here because the river is getting fishable.  As I get older ( I'm almost 80) I've become more cautious about going down to the banks to the river.  I'll venture out to the Arkansas one of these days.  The lakes are a safer place to fish.

I've had terrible cards at bridge the last three or four weeks but yesterday was the worst.  It was not to much fun yesterday following suit over and over.  I had very few (3 or 4) opening hands out of twenty-four.  I think I had more hands with four to six points.  It was ugly.  I hope the cards change soon.
