Yesterday morning, after a night of howling winds, I found that the arm of the awning hardware had slipped out of its locking mechanism.  I tried to find a "C clamp" at the hardware store but they didn't have any that would fit.  I ended up getting a U bolt and fixing it just under the arm so in case it happened again it wouldn't fall all the way to the ground.  I even did the other one as a preventative measure.  I still need to do some work on them this afternoon when I get back from fishing.

I'm going to drive up to Crystal this morning and see if I can do better than I did the other day.  If I can it will be a really good day of fishing.  Remember I brought 8 to the net and lost a couple on the way in.  If I can match that or improve on it I'll re-evaluate my take on Crystal and its fishing this year.  In June I had given up hope on fishing the lake this year.  I'm glad it's looking better.

I had high hopes of doing well at bridge yesterday after the first table.  My partner and I scored 1500 points.  From there it went downhill fast.  The next three tables were terrible and my score ended up not being very good.  Oh well, the cards will change at some point.  I hope.

All the teachers in California should back President Trump because since he was elected the stock market has gone up.  CalStrs, the retirement system investment return this year is 13.4% after the last two years of single digit gains.  Just a thought.
