It's cold and rainy this morning.  It's this way all over the area so I'm staying home and not going fishing today.  The big question then is what the heck am I going to do all day?  I'm not worried about the situation because I found out in 1976-77 that I'm very good at doing nothing.  In fact it's one of my strong points.  I don't have many of those so I cherish this one.  I think that's why I took to retirement so easily.  My gosh I just realized I've been retired 23 years.  You know, I haven't missed working at all.  I moved to Bullhead City Arizona when I retired thinking that I could supplement my income by substituting in the Nevada, California and Arizona schools.  One day it came to me that I really didn't want to do that since I had spent 30+ years in the classroom and finally got out.  I asked myself "why would I want to go back into the classroom"?  My answer was I don't.  So much for supplementing my income in that manner.

I thought I'd do my public service today by adding the following link.  The kids are making these bombs and you should be aware of this.  Please go to the link and watch the video.

Now that I've done my public service announcement I'd like to wish the best to a few people that have new arrivals on the way.  My niece Susan's son and daughter-in law are expecting their first child.  The future Grandparents are probably as nervous as the future parents.  They'll be a good grandpa and grandma though.  The second group are friends that are also expecting.  I know they'll be good grandparents too.  I hope everything turns out great for all eight of you.
