The "resist" movement of the left has little to do with policy. It's all about keeping power. That includes both the democrats and the rino (Republicans In Name Only) republicans. President Trump wants to change Washington D. C.. Let's face it, D.C. needs to be changed. It's too bad that the people who voted for Hillary can't see that. They can't see anything wrong with having a big government that is out of control. Without the left change could have happened. The size of the federal government could have been reduced. The number of government employees could also have been reduced. Do you know that government employees make almost twice as much as non-government employees?
Term limits is the only answer to rein in the awful smell of power hungry politicians. The problems of the country fall back on the shoulders of Congress. All the problems could be solved if the Congress wanted to solve them. They are more concern about their power than they are the country. If term limits was the law maybe some sane solutions to problems would rise to the forefront. We'd be better off with non-career Congressmen and Congresswomen. Add to this mix giving back to the states more of what states should do and the federal government shouldn't. Education comes to mind. Get the feds out of education and let the states take care of it. There are other federal departments that should also be abandoned. Drain the swamp could have happened except for the left voters. We missed a great opportunity because of them.
I see where Los Angeles paid out $1.3 billion dollars in welfare checks to illegal immigrants in the last TWO YEARS! I'm sure the taxpayers of California are happy with that news.
Headed to Silverthorne this morning.
