Yesterday turned out to be a nice day.  Not necessarily weather wise ( a couple of downpours and winds) but getting some chores done and just relaxing made it a good day.  I must say that losing three games to the women didn't help but it's all in good fun so.....

Today I play bridge downtown and I always look forward to that.  I really like bridge as it taxes my brain and at my age that's a good thing.

I'm not going to fish for at least five days. Tomorrow we are going to go to Silverthorne, Dillon, Breckinridge, etc.  I'm taking the truck to the Dodge dealer to possibly have a reflash done.  If there are updates that haven't been done they will do that and if not it's more time for "date day" with my wife. 

I must correct a couple of statements I wrote the other day.  I stated that it appeared that the division titles in baseball were all but settled.  The National League does look like the leaders will win but in the American League the races are closer.  The East division looks like a race to the wire as both Boston and New York are even in the loss column.  In the Central division Cleveland holds a 2.5 game lead but are three games ahead in the loss column.

College football season starts Saturday the 26th of this month.  I know many of you are anxiously awaiting the opening of both college and pro ball.  It will be here soon.
