Coach Gregg Popovich stated "Our country is an embarrassment in the world." Maybe it's only in his eyes. He can't understand and is disappointed in those who voted for President Trump.
I think he has alerted the world that he speaks the truth as he see it and many here in the States don't want to hear the truth. He's not a diplomat, thank goodness. See I like people that are straight with me. I know where they are and they know where I'm coming from. That to me is a good trait and you can disagree with what he and I say but you at least know what we believe.
I'm just a nobody, a "deplorable". I'm not a racist and I'm getting tired of hearing that I am. I don't think I'm a xenophobe either. I don't want to allow people into our country that don't want to assimilate into our culture. I don't think that I've been privileged either. I'm certainly not rich. I just got fed up with a government that is going towards socialism, spends too much money, isn't accountable to anyone, where the Senators and Congressmen don't have to live under the laws they pass. I could go on and on but what's the use. You know exactly what I'm talking about. The majority of the country thinks the government sucks. We on the right believe government is way too big. It is more and more interfering in our lives. It is even trying to tell us what words we can or cannot use. They force us to buy a product (health insurance) even if we don't want it. The only chance the people have to change the way government works was to elect a non-politician. But instead of seeing and understanding what is presented in front of them the left has shown that they like the status quo. Unfortunately too many republican Senators agree with them. The powerful in Washington are doing everything in their power to keep government the way it is. Are they afraid of losing their power? Darn tooting they are. They care more about themselves than the country.
The people are losing a huge opportunity to change the country for the better. More individual freedom. A better economic climate. Lower taxes. Term limits. These and the opportunity to make other improvements are not being given a chance because too "the swamp" doesn't want to be cleaned.
My picks for this week are
Texas over Iowa State. The Longhorns took USC to overtime
USC over Wash State (could go the other way)
Florida over Vanderbilt
Georga Tech to defeat N, Carolina
Navy beats Tulsa in a close one.
Stanford over Arizona State
Clemson over Virginia Tech.
Oklahoma State bounces back to defeat Texas Tech in a high scoring game
Texas A&M over South Carolina
Oregon over Cal
