I think we're going to have a couple of days without rain.  I'm going to take advantage of that by going fishing this morning.  I'm going to break one of my rules and fish on the weekend.  I'm just going to go down below our park since it's so convenient if I change my mind and want to come home.  I probably won't catch any whoppers but I'll have fun.

It will be interesting to read about what happens in the NFL today.  I won't be watching so I'll have to read about what the players do today.It seems as though most players are aware of the backlash their protests have cost and that some sponsors are ready to pull out, notably Budweiser. 

College football mainly followed the script yesterday.  There was however on big upset.  Troy defeated LSU 24-21.  Go Troy!  I was 9-1 on my picks to move me to 24-16 on the year.  I'm in the 86 and 92 percentile for my entries into ESPN "college pick'em". 

The "Trump Haters" are trying to say he's done a bad job on the Puerto Rico hurricane effort.  The left has it all wrong once again.  Water, food and other supplies were in port but there were no truck drivers to haul the relief supplies.  The unions didn't allow the drivers to work.  (at least this is what I read)  Also the infrastructure there is (was) terrible.  Dams have broken which have added to the problem.  The governor has stated that President Trump has come through when asked for help.  The mayor of San Juan however has complained but hasn't done anything to help the situation.  I imagine the left will blame Trump for starting the hurricane.  Remember they are insane when it comes to hating Trump. and make outlandish (read idiotic) statements.

Time to get around to go fishing.
