It seems too many kids have turned into selfish, disrespectful brats that have no respect for people, property or authority.  Is this the result of two parents working?   Is it the result of wanting to be friends with their children instead of being parents?  Probably that and much more.

I have a feeling that too many mothers tend to dote on their boys and have made them into wimps. The overprotective moms especially.  You know the ones that you can't do this or that because you might get hurt.  Football is a no no but soccer is okay.  Don't go hunting with dad because you're hurting an animal.  Be careful taking the hook out of that fish you caught because it has feelings too, etc.  But the topper is the "man bun".  Is that a ridiculous style or what?

It's just me thinking on my blog wondering if it's just my age that cues me to think this way.

What a day in college football.  Auburn dominated Alabama.  That is going to cause problems with the selection committee.  If Auburn beats Georgia again, does that mean a two loss team gets into the playoffs for the first time?  Will the committee even recognize that University of Central Florida is undefeated?  When will a team from the group of five make it into the playoffs?  Wisconsin is the only other undefeated team left.  If Ohio State beats them does another two loss team get in?  It would really help is Wisconsin beats Ohio State and Georgia defeats Auburn.  Then you would have a one loss team, Georgia, and an undefeated team, Wisconsin
the other two would probably be Clemson and Oklahoma both with 11-1 records.  Of course that means that both teams would need to win their conference championships.  Oklahoma needs to beat TCU and Clemson needs to defeat Miami.  It's an interesting year.
