It's time for  the spineless Republicans in Congress to step up and pass a tax bill.  In doing so I hope they vote to start the new taxes in 2018. I'm afraid if they don't the majority in the House or Senate could change and we'd it might get postponed or changed.

I see where Al Franken thinks he can still be influential in the Senate.  I think he should be ousted.  The talk was that if Roy Moore is elected in Alabama the Senate might censure him so how can they do nothing to a seated Senator?  I guess I know the answer to that question.  It's the swamp.  I've got your back if you've got mine.  Send it to the ethics committee which doesn't do anything.

I forgot to tell you how bad I picked this past weekend.  Once again I lost more than I won.  I went 4-6 so my season total is 79-51 or 61%.  I am doing pretty good in my entries in ESPN contests.  I'm in the 88th percentile in one group and the 92 percentile in the other group.  This week the games are:

Friday
1.  Stanford vs USC  Pac 12 Championship
Saturday
2.  Memphis vs UCF (University of Central Florida) American Conference  Championship

3.  TCU vs Oklahoma      Big 12 Championship

4.  Georgia vs Auburn      SEC Championship

5.  Troy vs Arkansas State      Sunbelt Conference Championship

6.  Fresno State vs Boise State    Mountain West Championship

7.  Miami vs Clemson            Atlantic Coast Conference    Championship

8.  Ohio State vs Wisconsin    Big Ten Conference Championship

9.  Akron vs Toledo     Mid-American Conference Championship

10.  South Alabama vs New Mexico State  battle of not very good    teams
