My wife and I had a nice birthday date yesterday.  She'll always be young in my heart.  She's a person that most all people immediately like.  She's kind, nice and looks out for me.  How I lucked out getting her to marry me is unknown to me.  We had a good day.

Does it seem strange to you that when Matt Lauer has sexual misconduct allegations thrown at him he is immediately fired. But when Senator Franken and Representative Conyers have allegations thrown at them they continue in their jobs?  It's time for Congress to clean itself up.  Get rid of these men.  It is also time for the American public to wake up and demand term limits.  Rep. Conyers has been in Congress for at least 50 years.  The founding fathers never intended for serving in Congress to be a career.  Let's have a massive grassroots uprising demanding term limits.

Congress always has low ratings in the polls.  It is amazing that the same people keep getting elected.  I guess it's Congress sucks but my guy/woman is okay.

It seems weird to me that Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell has said the Senate might censure Roy Moore if he is elected but allows Senator Franken to go back to work.  Franken admits but apologizes while Moore denies the allegations and Moore is the one found guilty.  What this means is the Majority leader would rather disallow the voters of a state their elected official to be seated in the Senate but not do anything about an admitted sexual harasser.  Washington D.C. is a swamp and should be drained and the only way to do that is to have term limits.  Have I ranted enough?  Yeah I guess I have.

I have my checkup at the V.A. hospital this morning.  After that I don't have anything planned.  There a a few minor chores I might get to today.  We'll see how it goes.
