Boy did we have a thunderstorm last night and this morning.  It's still raining and the wind is blowing.  It looks cold outside so I'll be inside for awhile.  After I get through writing this blog I guess I'll do some reading.

I had a good night of rest and sleep and am feeling good this morning.  I just got up from the table so I'm full and am trying to get ready for the day.  At the first break from rain and wind I need to go to the gas station and put some fuel in the truck.  We are going to take our neighbors out to dinner tonight in Salida.  There is a very good Italian Restaurant that we haven't been to this year.  Since my appetite and taste buds have returned we thought now would be a good time to go.

I'm going to go fishing tomorrow with Ray.  We'll be going to Antero Reservoir.  Look at what Ray and a friend brought home last night.  I'm hoping to hook one like these on my fly rod.  Fun.



Did Nike make the right move?  I hope they go bankrupt.  Boycott them please.  How stupid can they get by trying to be politically correct.

Speaking of stupid the democrats showed just how childish they are by pulling stunts at a Senate hearing on Judge Kavanaugh.  The disrespect for the confirmation process highlights just how the democrats view the scene.  Act childish, disrupt the hearings, resist, resist, resist.  The people of this country need to take a look and see how out of touch the democrats are and what they stand for.  They've already said that if they gain the majority they will try to raise taxes, impeach the President, for what I don't know.  Maybe for helping businesses or raising your 401-K.  For making it easier to get things done by doing away with stupid regulations?  It's all a game with the democrats.  I wish they cared as much for the country and its citizens as they do for illegal immigrants.
