I went fishing yesterday with Ray.  I didn't get skunked but I only caught one fish.  Ray ended up catching seven or eight.  His first fish was over 23+ inches long and weighed about 6 1/2 pounds.  Mine wasn't close to that nor were any of the others that were brought into the boat. We might have caught more but it started raining around 11:30 so we called it a day.  I had a good time and got a little tired but I could have fished longer.  When I got home I laid down and slept for an hour or so.


It was 41 degrees when Carolyn and I got up this morning. It's about 8 o'clock right now and the heater came on again.  The high is to be around 74 and only 20% chance of rain.  It looks like it's going to be a really nice day here in Buena Vista.

The democrats are still playing games at the hearing for Judge Kavanaugh.  I can understand their opposition to him being on the Supreme Court but their tactics have been terrible.  They showed that they have no class.  Childish is the word that comes to mind.  One of the reasons they don't want him on the Supreme Court is that he believes in the Constitution.  

Below is another reminder of just how hypocritical the democrats really are.  Why don't they show some class and accept the fact that they are the minority party at the present time.  I just remembered why they can't do that.  They don't live in the real world.
