A low scoring Super Bowl.  I liked the game because one mistake on defense could coast either team the game.  It seemed as if the Patriots dominated the game and I think they did but one err and the Rams could go ahead.  I enjoyed watching the New England defense.  The coaching staff of the Patriots deserve the victory.  They came up with a defense that shut the Rams down, completely.  The Patriots win again.  What a performance!  They shut down one of the best offenses in the league.  The Rams couldn't do anything with the ball.  I know the first eight times they had it ended in punts.  I told you I picked against the Patriots the first two weeks but after watching them execute their game plans they convinced me they could win the Championship.  They make very, very few mistakes.  Congrats to the New England Patriots.

I watched the golf tournament before the Super Bowl.  Rickie Fowler had the strangest win.  He was leading by 4 or 5 strokes when he hit the ball into the water.  He placed the ball properly and walked up to the green.  While he was up there the ball decided to roll into the water again.  He ended up losing shots and another player ended up passing Fowler up.  It didn't last long as Fowler recovered and Branden Grace made a bogey and Fowler took advantage of that and came back to win the tournament and $1.278 million.

This morning I had blood drawn and the numbers are good.  We expect the platelet count to go down in the next couple of weeks.  Right now though I would get some clotting on a cut.  I plan on not cutting myself so I hope I won't be needing to clot.  I registered at the Care center for my up coming CAT Scan.  That's on the 14th of this month.  I'm not sure if I'm anxious for the results of the scan.  This is a crucial period of time.  If the results are good I'll get some time off.  If things are growing I'll have to go to the last drug to have a chance to put the disease in remission.  In other words this one is working or things won't look very good for me.  There is one more drug they'd try but aren't real enthusiastic about it.  I guess I'll just remain positive and believe this drug I'm on right now is doing the job and I'll be okay for a while.

That's all I've got for today.
