We had a little sleet come down earlier this morning.  It's cold,   33 degrees outside at a quarter to ten.  Crazy weather like this will keep me inside today.

I'm doing well.  Everything seems okay except my nose keeps running.  I'm trying different medicines to see if I can dry it up.  Other than that things are good.

I think the White house owes democrats a big thank you.  When things were not going well with the partial closing of government the President's numbers were falling.  Since the "Green New Deal" has been introduced to the country and the SOTU speech his numbers are going up.   The Republicans, who are not good at public relation statements, couldn't have planned anything like what has happened since the democrats have proposed their socialistic ideas.  Thanks dems.  

What the socialists are proposing are higher taxes on the wealthiest Americans.  They are expecting them to pay 70 to 90 percent of their taxable income.  I don't know how high the rest of the tax brackets would be.  Even if they did this there still wouldn't be enough money to finance their programs.  

But the new Green Deal is the funniest of all.  Doing away with all fossil fuel would ruin the economy and put millions of people out of work.  Have they really thought this out?  No more fuel for cars nor airplanes.  Oh, I forgot, electric cars.  The problem with that is what fuel is going to be to produce electricity at the point of plugging in to recharge the battery?

 I have seen a video of Nancy Pelosi instructing democrats on how to smear an opponent.  You make up lies about the person.  The media then runs articles about it and then you say see it's in the media so it must be true.  I tried to post it in this blog but it is on a secure sight and I could figure how to post it.  Oops I figured it out
