Me with a German Brown Trout
What a great time we had on our guided outing yesterday!  We caught a lot of fish and missed setting the hook on many more.  The two Bobs and I went to Antero Reservoir to meet up with our guide at 7:00 AM.  We were there early and our guide, Larry, spotted us about the time we spotted him.  He had his boat in the water already and came to the dock to pick us up.  He set up my line with his special set up and we were on our way to one of his GPS settings.  He explained how we were going to fish.

One of Bob Bordona's fish caught at Antero
It didn't take lone before I hooked up.  The first fish was not a very large one for Antero, which is a really good fishery.  I then hooked another one and the day of catching was on.  The two Bobs then caught several fish while I was not catching anything.  They had a good morning with several double hookups.  (The two pictured fish are not the largest we caught.  They are about the average size of the fish we put in the net.   We caught many much larger.  Larry sure knew what he was doing and where to fish on the reservoir.  I'll have more pictures when Bob sends them to me.  Dumb me forgot my phone so I'm depending on the Bobs to send me the pictures they took.  To wrap it up we had a great day.  We brought to the net 30 to 40 fish between the four of us.  Not bad for three fishermen whose ages add up to 244 years.

We're going up to Crystal this morning and will be doing some dry fly fishing, my favorite way to fly fish.  The fish will be much smaller than yesterday but I'll use a lighter rod and have a lot of fun.  The days are going by quickly and the Bobs are running out of fishing time so anytime we go is good for their time here.

As far as an update on msy health, I didn't get tired fishing yesterday but I did get tired after getting up before four AM and not getting to bed until after eight.  I feel good and I'm enjoying our company so things are good.  I say this all the time, each day is a blessing and I appreciate each one. I hope this finds you readers in good health and smiles throughout the day.
