It seems like the big drama for Super Bowl day is which ad will be the winner.  Well here's mine and it wasn't close.  The big winner was the Fiat ad.  I laughed out loud during and after the ad.

Where does one begin when reviewing the ballgame. I guess everyone is starting with the stupidest play call ever or at least in the top ten.  When you have a back that is hard as heck to bring down give him the ball.  He just ran it for 4 or 5 yards.  I know Pete Carroll is saying they didn't match up well with the personnel the Patriots had on the field but... I also think he's taking the heat off his offense play caller.  I was mixed on who I was pulling for but the way the Seattle players reacted at the last I decided I was glad New England won.  The Seahawks showed no class getting into the fight.  Accept your loss and your mistakes and congratulate the winners.  How big was the encroachment penalty at the end of the game?  How about a safety and an onside kick recovery.  If only.

I'll give you my take on different things I saw during the game.  I must have missed the National Anthem but having heard the singer I would think it was good. There's a controversy about the length of her rendition because in Las Vegas you can bet over or under on the length of the song.  She was 4 seconds over 2 minutes with her arrangement.
I'm not a fan of NBC for several reasons.  First they are a left-wing network.  Second I can't stand Bob Costas.  Why just before the start of the second half he had to recap what happened in the first half is beyond me.  I just watched it.  Don't insult my intelligence.  I saw the entire half. I coached the game.  Keep your mouth shut.  Why NBC thinks the public needs to hear his take on things is just down right stupid.  I also don't like Chris Collinsworth. Ever since he pampered his boy by helping to get Coach Leach fired at Texas Tech I haven't cared for him.  He doesn't add much to the broadcast anyway.  Al Michaels is OK.
The play calling in the last minute will always be remembered but don't forget the gutsy call with 6 seconds left in the first half.  The Seahawks could have settled for 3 but showed their mettle when the passed and scored a TD.
I thought the officials missed several calls of pass interference.  The pushing of defenders away to get separation is allowed now, I guess.  The big one they missed was a third down play where a Patriot defender fell and then reached up and tripped the Seahawk receiver.  It would have been a first down and Seattle wouldn't have had to punt.  All in all it was an exciting ball game that came right down to the wire.  In the clutch the Seahawks made the mistakes and in my opinion lost the game.
