It's sunny right now.  We even had a sunrise this morning.  It seems like we haven't had one in a long, long, time. Today it's college football.  I plan on being in front of the telly for most of the day.  I'm one and one on my picks.  Washington State defeated USC last night.  If you remember my comment you know I said it could go the other way.  It did.  I had USC. 

Today we honor our own park.  Each year we have a day where the park salutes it shareholders and itself.  What the heck it's a free lunch.  I guess that's not true since we (the shareholders) are the park.  It's always nice to get together and see our neighbors in a social setting.  The park furnishes the meat (steak) and the makings of the side dishes but some of the women make the sides.  Since we're all older we hold it at noon instead of an evening dinner.

The left is poo-pooing (is that a word?) the tax bill.  Surprise, surprise as Gomer would say.  It would probably be defeated by Senators McCain, Collins and Paul anyway.  Why Senate Majority leader McConnell and the Republicans haven't changed the rules to make things easier to get done must be the fact that they really don't want President Trump to succeed. Rush has a theory on that.  He thinks that President Trump who has not been a career politician comes in and solves problems would bring to the forefront just how bad the career people are since they have been there forever and haven't solved the problems.  Therefore don't let Trump succeed.
